SOLD Faded Rose Cloth Face: October Masquerade Boudoir Doll

Masquerade parties and balls were the place to celebrate the last night of October also known as All Hallows Eve. Among Hollywood's rich and famous this night more than any other represented the glittering, glamourous, mysterious world of make-believe, that was the Hollywood of the 1920s. Many movie stars carried along their boudoir dolls, often dressed in matching costumes, as accessories. Some of the original dolls survive to this day.
This is our version, dressed as her owner might have been, for a night of frolic and some say, "scandalous" fun.
